Position Overview

Ultimate Staffing Services is actively seeking a dedicated Temporary HR Assistant for their client's team in the Pasadena, CA area. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about human resources and is available for temporary assignments. The position requires an onsite presence and offers a competitive hourly rate of $22-$24/hr.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the development and implementation of human resource policies.
• Administer compensation and benefit plans.
• Assist in talent acquisition and recruitment processes.
• Conduct employee onboarding and help organize training and development initiatives.
• Provide support to employees in various HR-related topics such as leaves and compensation and resolve any issues that may arise.
• Undertake tasks around performance management.
• Maintain employee files and records in electronic and paper form.
• Ensure compliance with labor regulations.
• Handle other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Proven experience working as an HR Assistant required.
• Understanding of general human resources policies and procedures.
• Good knowledge of employment/labor laws required.
• Outstanding knowledge of MS Office and HRIS systems required.
• Excellent communication and people skills.
• Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or other relevant field preferred.
